Wesley and Andie, husband & wife duo, have started their life together in 2017 and officially began Feather Prairie Farm at the purchase of their property and start of marriage in 2019. The two combined their passions for hunting, dog sporting, and nature as they stepped into their journey together. As a teenager in high school Wesley was passionate about raising pheasant for a local hunt club as part of his FFA program and also was dedicating time to hunting with his father and friends. Andie also had passions of dog training and showing. Together, their hobbies developed into a professional, one of a kind business to service Illinois hunt clubs with game birds, local dog trainers with hunt training grounds, and a local spot for naturalists to observe and discuss conservation!

In 2020, their first group of pheasants began, and by 2022 a re-creation of a technical pond, establishment of two wetlands, and designed prairie had officially completed their ever growing dream in Dwight, IL.

As time has developed, Wesley and Andie have grown not only their business but their family with their two girls, Wren and Wylder Rose. This family’s passion to protect our environment and grow excitement about the world around us is shared with any who are interested.
